We recognize that Artificial Intelligence (AI) has a place in today’s world as a utility. However, AI is a tool meant to enhance human efficiency, not a substitute for the human brain, human creativity, or human jobs. We fundamentally refuse to con our user base into believing something is real when it is synthetic. When you interact with our platforms, read our comics, or watch our films, you are experiencing authentic human effort.

To maintain our integrity and protect the creators we serve, Sanctuary Innovations enforces the following strict policies regarding the use of AI.

Zero-Tolerance for AI in Art and Entertainment

Sanctuary Innovations does not condone, publish, or produce any works of art generated by AI.

This applies across all of our divisions:

• Comics and Publishing: Backlot Comics will not distribute or publish any comic books, covers, or illustrations created using Generative AI.

• Film and Television: Studio2430 will not produce, fund, or acquire any movies, TV shows, or animations that utilize Generative AI.

• Editing: Our ban on AI in art strictly includes the editing process. AI tools may not be used to "touch up," alter, or finalize human artwork or film footage.

• Future Streaming: We will not host or stream any AI-generated content on any of our current or future streaming platforms.

Engineering and Code Development

Software development at Sanctuary Innovations is a human discipline. We do not allow "vibe coding" (relying on AI to write, architect, or generate our software codebase).

• AI cannot write code: Our platforms are built by human engineers to ensure radical safety and architectural integrity.

• AI as a proofreader: AI may only be utilized by our engineering team as a secondary diagnostic tool—specifically to check existing human-written code for syntax errors or to assist in debugging.

Acceptable Administrative Use

We view AI the same way we view a calculator or a spreadsheet: as an administrative utility to make our team more effective, not as a replacement for them. AI may be used internally by Sanctuary Innovations staff strictly for:

• Organizing thoughts and drafting internal outlines.

• Automating routine data entry, such as formatting sales reports or structuring analytics.

• Improving backend administrative efficiency.
