Welcome to Sanctuary Innovations, LLC. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of all digital properties and platforms operated by Sanctuary Innovations, including our corporate website, Havven, Studio2430, and Backlot Comics (collectively, the "Platforms").
By accessing or using our Platforms, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.
Our Ethos: The Appreciation Economy
Sanctuary Innovations builds digital sanctuaries, not algorithm-driven content mills. Our ecosystems are designed for creator sovereignty, radical safety, and human connection. By joining our Platforms, you agree to participate respectfully and adhere to the community guidelines specific to each service.
Eligibility and Age Restrictions
You must meet the specific age requirements for the platform you are accessing:

Havven: You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to access, view, or create content on Havven.

Studio2430 and Backlot Comics: You must be at least 18 years old to create a registered account, enter into distribution agreements, or make B2B purchases.
By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these age requirements and that all registration information you submit is accurate and truthful.
Account Security
We operate on a "Safety by Design" architecture. When you create an account, your password is immediately securely hashed and encrypted; we do not store or have access to your password in plain text. However, you are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Platform-Specific Terms
Because Sanctuary Innovations operates diverse ecosystems, certain rules apply depending on which service you are using:

Havven: Havven operates under a strict zero-tolerance policy for non-consensual content, illegal material, and harassment. Creators must undergo rigorous identity verification before monetizing content.

Studio2430: As a professional film community, users must accurately represent their credits and experience. Falsifying a "Verified Resume" or engaging in toxic behavior will result in account suspension.

Backlot Comics: Retailers and creators utilizing the Backlot B2B portal must adhere to the specific Retail Partnership Agreements and Creator Licensing Agreements, which govern wholesale orders, minimums, and physical fulfillment.
Intellectual Property Rights
Your Content: You retain 100% ownership of the intellectual property (IP) you create and upload to our Platforms. Whether it is an indie comic on Backlot, an indie film on Studio2430, or creator content on Havven, it is your universe. We claim no ownership over your original work. By uploading content, you grant Sanctuary Innovations a limited, non-exclusive license to display, host, and distribute your content strictly to operate the specific platform it was uploaded to.
Our Platform: The infrastructure, code, logos, and design of Havven, Studio2430, and Backlot Comics are the exclusive property of Sanctuary Innovations, LLC. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or scrape our Platforms.
Prohibited Conduct
To maintain the safety and integrity of our digital sanctuaries, you agree not to:

Upload, post, or transmit any content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or violates the rights of third parties.

Attempt to bypass our security measures, exploit platform vulnerabilities, or use automated scripts (bots) to scrape data or manipulate engagement.

Use our Platforms to facilitate fraud, money laundering, or any illegal commercial activity.

Violate the specific community guidelines or content taxonomies established for Havven, Studio2430, or Backlot Comics.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in prohibited conduct, or create legal risk for Sanctuary Innovations, our creators, or our users.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Our Platforms are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. While we strive for 99.9% uptime and rigorous security, we do not guarantee that the services will be completely error-free or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sanctuary Innovations, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of our Platforms.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect new features, legal requirements, or platform growth. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through a prominent notice on our Platforms before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Platforms after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
